Day 4 - Art of Living - Mission Green Earth Tree planting

There is a saying “it’s not what you do when everything is going well and easy, rather what you do when everything going wrong, hard and tough”.

Last Day of Spring 2013 tree planting June 1st 2013 - Hard, tough and everything went wrong:
  • Last minute changes in location of tree planting, it took long time to get all volunteers to the location
  • Weather was muggy, hot and humid - felt like more than 30C, very tiring
  • Hard, rocky and dry Soil to dig.
  • Planting area had full of grown grass and weeds up to your waist.
  • Not many volunteers came to the event

We did it and completed all 215 trees.

I admire the commitment and discipline from those who stayed back till the end with all these challenges.

It’s a great inspiration.

We've completed 5 year continuous, back to back tree planting with over 6200 trees.

Simply One Amazing Enthusiastic Team!!!

Day 3 - Mega Tree planting - 500 Trees - Happy Birthday Guruji

When we started the Tree planting in 2008 I never thought one day we will have more than 100 people planting 500 trees.

Well who would have thought this will be coming.

May 11th 2013 to remember His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s (Guruji’s) Birthday more than 100 volunteers all across GTA came together and planted 500 trees.

It was simply amazing how easy it was to plant tree with so many people around you.   The day before we had lots of rain and made the ground so easy to plant (it’s Grace for sure)

Since 2008 Art of Living Mission Green Earth project with City of Mississauga planted about 6000 trees.

More than 100 volunteers!!!
500 Trees!!!!
withing 2hours!!!

Happy Birthday Guruji, without you where would we be now!!!  Thank you so much for everything you've given to us!

Mississauga Half Marathon 2013 – Completed and looking forward to the next.

Mississauga Half Marathon 2013 – Completed and looking forward to the next.

Finally after 4 years did it. Feels good.

Also I donated and run for the Boston marathon victims as well for good cause.

I was out of shape ever since I had the ankle injury in Ashram since 2009.  With HIS Grace and Blessing I started to recover and finally able to run my Half Marathon.

I started to train since Feb 2013 in local gym and even though I was not fully ready for the Half marathon I took this bold challenging step to run.    Last 7km I hit the wall and was struggling to finish.  Now I am sick with sinus still pain and strain all over the body.   With all the pain I feel good that I can move on now with full training for next Half Marathon.

Hopefully I will recover fully for May 11th 500 tree planting session.

Shakti Kriya - My Experience with the Master

I did the Shakti Kriya with His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Guruji) in April 10-14th at Internal Art of Living Retreat Center in Canada (http://www.artofliving.org/ca-en/north-american-center)

My experience from Shakti Kriya is that I am so much grateful to my Master who constantly guiding me to where I am now.   Without Guruji’s guidance I would be at great lost in this world.

I feel so much light and feel my mind is empty.  I am full of confidence now.  I was so stuck with many things before Shakti Kriya and I feel my whole mind and body has been cleansed and I feel I am so clean now.

I also feel so much connected to everything in this world as this whole world is mine and I am fully belong  to this world.

Thanks Guruji to experience this immense wonderful Truth.

Other knowledge point he shared during his visit

1) He explained that GOD is always with you.   GOD was with you in the past, is present with you now and will continue to present with you in future.  He is all around you and in you with equal strength.   (Space and Time)

2) Lust, Anger, Greed and Jealousy is pathway to misery

3) Do not let anyone take away your happiness even if God comes do not let it take away

4) Negative feeling comes all the time and you cannot avoid just be with it do not try to get rid of.

Something I experience during this time is that we all have our own path and no need to compare and look for any help from anyone.  No need to look for any attention from anyone.  All your need will be taken care of by GOD because GOD is with you always in All Space and All Time.
