Art of Living Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES) Contribute to clean up the Woodlot in Mississauga

Art of Living Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES) provides youths of age 13-18 a knowledge and skills to handle their life much better. There are endless testimonial on what and how this program helps the teenagers and youth to cope up with their daily stress and tough times.

This Saturday 07/Aug/2010 kids from YES course, did a cleanup on the Windrush woods in Mississauga. Truly very interesting experience for myself to see this quiet and shy youngsters come out with many interesting discussions. Firstly they found it as an adventure to hunt all garbage on the woods to cleanup secondly it gave me inspiration to get to know them. More I get to know, I remember what Guruji has said on teenagers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3FTXZ9TFSI)

I thank Vaishnavi Palaparty and her YES kids for giving an opportunity to clean up and contribute to the City of Mississauga.

Another successful Tree planting Season spring 2010

Another successful Tree planting Season spring 2010

We successfully concluded another successful tree planting season.   Spring 2010 season been the best I have seen from the people dedication and commitment.  From the little Krish to mighty Ashok, we have seen the dedication of the people.  We have planted over 550 trees in 4 Saturdays.

We have started tree planning in fall 2008 and this is our 3rd year in a raw we are continuously doing this effort and this is only successful because of all the great volunteers.  So far we have planted more than 2200 trees in Mississauga.

Thanks again for all the volunteers to have a great successful day. We are so grateful and happy to contribute to City of Mississauga and its vision for Million trees for Mississauga.

Take Responsibility

We attach our own pride with what we do and what we did in the past. Sometimes it keeps going in our head over and over again like a broken record player. Past is like a fantasy, it’s gone and future is full of mystery, yet we live in that more than we live in the present moment. Its great wonder how our mind works and its nature but controlling it and putting a toll gate are necessary and making our intellect sharp and very active is very well needed now than ever.

Only a Guru and his Grace and total devotion to him can bring this knowledge and skills. With all this with Grateful I take responsibility and pray to my Master to give peace and non-violence to all around me and to the whole world and beyond.

With love, always yours

Gratefulness

Gratefulness

I am so fortunate to grow up in Colombo, Sri Lanka. My early childhood made me understand the different diversity in the world. I am a Hindu grow up with Buddhist, Muslims and Catholics and able to talk to them all in 3 languages, English, Tamil and Singhalese.

Till now I have so many Singhalese friends and I understand the various religions and appreciate each of them as each brought much rich wisdom and goodness in me. I am so lucky and proud to be from Sri Lanka without which I will not see the world as it is now. I thank all my friends whether they are Tamils or Sinhalese or what ever the religion they were. I am so grateful for all of you, Thank you.

Its simply amazing day, with every thing went well and the conservatory next to Credit view was simply calming and meditative.

It’s so thrilling to see the youth and kids actively taking part in many activities. Every day, I always learn many things from them.
