When I grow up in Jaffna and Colombo, Sri Lanka, as kids we use to go to temple every morning before we go to School and in the evening before we get to our houses. As a custom and disciple we use to pray in our own way by Chanting Ganapathy Thevaram (Ganesh manthra) and at the end we do Thorpu Karanam(it’s like while holding your right ears with left hand and left ears with right hand and do sit up, and then with gently closed wrist gently hit the fore head, its kind of massaging the forehead.
Recent research shows that this balances our brain activities and improves brain power. It’s truly amazing how our ancestors are so smart we can only fathom it now.

Windrush Woods in Mississauga Adopted by Art of Living Foundation
Windrush Woods in Mississauga Adopted by Art of Living Foundation
Art of Living volunteers in Mississauga committed to contribute back to the beautiful city they live in by adopting Windrush Woods Park in Mississauga. They spend their valuable Saturday April 10th to clean up the Wood.
Art of Living Foundation is one of the largest, non for profit, Educational and volunteer based organization in the world; we get our full enthusiasm and inspiration from his teaching from World Humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar,
We had such a great event by not only cleaning our City where we live but also we had such a great fun with our volunteers including kids, youth and adults. We are so grateful and inspired to do more and contribute to our city. We are indeed so lucky to do these service projects.
We would to thank City of Mississauga to provide us all the support to make this project very successful. Also, again many thanks to Art of Living volunteers for their effort and time
